We strive to optimise our daily activities in order to offer our guests a sustainable and environmentally friendly way of travelling. By switching our daily processes to the most modern and up-to-date online solutions, using the latest technology throughout the hotel and using tablets, we save resources such as paper, among other things.
Our kitchen team also strives for a zero waste circular economy in our gourmet restaurant. Our products, which meet our own high quality standards, are almost entirely processed and recycled. By aoffering à la carte breakfasts, we also minimise food waste. We also use local producers for most of the food served in the restaurant and bar & bistro. And that's not all... in the near future we will have a roof garden where we will grow our own herbs and vegetables.
All the lighting in the hotel is energy efficient. By switching to the district heating and cooling system, we are reducing our CO₂ emissions. This helps to keep the historic Ring Road cooler, as noisy air conditioners do not vent hot air into the neighbourhood.
